i recently updated with sp3 and now my computer wont load past the boot selection screen
ive TRIED safe mode
and starting normally
and last known good config
and even the xp disc

system specs
Windows xp sp3
amd athlon xp 2600+ 2.13 ghz
512 mb ram
128 mb ram on agp card
80gb hdd main
25 gb hdd secondary
2 dvd optical drives (new)

it began restarting itself when i would click on my name on the logon screen
and it got progressively worse from there now it wont do anything
when i try starting in safe mode it stops on a driver that is called mup.drv
and wont do anything from there
