Answer» on window 98 you can get to the start up menu by pressing CTRL while computer starts, and you can choose from a list. How can you do this on window XP? What key should i PRESS to get to the start up menu? The purpose of this is because I want to go to the command prompt whitout starting windows XP. you will need to boot USING a win 98 or win xp boot disc to start in cmd dosAbraham Dozal....I'm not sure if this is what you want but.......if you click....
