Answer» my cousin has a Siemens laptop with windows VISTA, i ran windows defender on it today to detect any spyware and got rid of a few, now when i START it up for him its saying that winload.exe is missing! did i do something wrong that windows defender got rid of winload.exe? how do i fix it for him?Try the instructions here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927392 Oh, you want to use the /FIXBOOT option, from what I've read on this ISSUE.
