Solve : WINLOGON.EXE crashing?

I am having a heck of a TIME logging on to a machine.  After entering the PASSWORD, while the infratool . . .loads, I get an error message:

Program Error

WINLOG.EXE has GENERATED . .

The desktop loads then crashes.

Any ideas?Feel like doing some READING up on the topic?
