Answer» Hey guys, I have a question. So, I ordered my copy of Windows XP through my school, where I got it at discounted price. My copy of WinXP came with WinXP Pro and WinXp Pro x64. My question is, I am planning on building a brand new machine and since I already have the 32 bit WinXP Pro installed and registered on my current machine, would I be allowed to install the x64 version on my new machine, or would I be REQUIRED to GET a new copy of the OS? Thank you for your time.Did you get one 25 DIGIT registration number or two? That should answer the question.It has a different product key number, yes. But that does not exactly answer my question.The answer is that one standard licence covers one machine. The EULA explains all of this.With a separate ProductKey number you can install it on a second computer. |
