Answer» I am trying to connect to my wireless network and i get a message of TCP/IP not enabled;how do I enable it?Can you give you OS? what is OS?Operating System, like XP.
Also, information about your router and wireless cards. Information about your computer might also help. The more information the better, although some of it may not be necessary, it's better to let the PEOPLE here sort out what is important and what's not.windows xp; I connect through a wireless connection;I have linksys; What's the model number of your router? The OS is irrelevant...the setup procedures are the same from Win98 thru Win7...LINKSYS WIRELESS G 2.4GHZ WRT54G ROUTEROK, FIRST it's not a 1394 router but a 802.11g router. Very different.
What's the model of your wireless cards? The 1394 was not the router but the name of the connection on my laptop:it is a 1394 net adapter;and when i try to repair the connection(i always connected to my router mentioned above but gave the computer to somebody and since i got it back can not connect)i get the message:following action can not be completed:TCP/IP is not enabled for this connection;Open Command Prompt; type ipconfig /all Paste contents here. ethernet adapter local area connections: media state....media disconected description.....broadcon 570x GIGABIT integrated controller physical addres....00-0F-1F-43-A0-22

This indicates you are connected to the router through a wireless connection. You are not connected through your wired connection (the broadcon gigabit).I DID INSTALL A MEDIALINK CARD SO I CAN USE IT TILL I FIGURE OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE BUILT IN WIRELESS ..THE 1394

I see your caps-lock is now broken, too. Are you saying you have 2 wireless cards? What is make & model of laptop? 1394 is not wireless, it's the Firewire port on the laptop. http://www.1394netadapter.net/
