Solve : Wireless router reset??

Answer»

Hi a few days ago my hdd crashed and I did get all the INFO off and reinstalled windows XP SP3 and got all my programs running but one. I have a linksys router which I am using right now. Anyway I tried to reinstall it so that I could get a new password and username on it but the router after the last step (connect to power) won't proceed because it still has the old information. What I need to know is how to reset everything on the router so it would be like I just got it out of the box. I already tried the little reset button at the back. No go.

Any ideas?

Full reset can require holding button in for 10-20 sec.The info should be on a label on the underside of the router.
You have to HOLE the reset 20 seconds.

User and Password both "admin" I think.Quote from: Geek-9pm on July 06, 2010, 02:28:26 PM
