Answer» You may have some conflict. Does Multiple Applicator runs as a startup? Do you have Windows ME CD?multiple applicator does not run on startup !!! my pc came preinstalled with ME and only came with :: RECOVERY CDROM;; AND DRIVER UTILITIES CDROM:::::Please, GO to both locations of MSIMG 32.dll file, and post back with version number in both cases.Ver: 5.1.2600.2180 [xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158]Description: GDIEXT Client DLL...... and Ver:5.1.2600.1106[xpspl.020828-1920] Description:GDIEXT Client DLLIt looks like your version is too HIGH, and in fact (I checked M$ site) is designed for Windows XP. That may be a problem. I don't have Windows ME, but I checked my Win 98, which is very similar OS, and MSIMG32.dll reports 5.00.1693.1 version. You may want to PM me with your email address, and I'll send you my file. Then, you can replace your file with mine.I got your email address. Please, remove it from your post, facing spambots, otherwise...Broni .. thanks.. i downloaded the NEW msimg32.dll file......how do i install it?? i admit my ignorance !!!!!!Don't worry about it. Restart computer in Safe Mode (keep tapping F8 key, when computer starts to boot, until menu appears; select Safe Mode) Find msimg32.dll file, I sent you, right click on it, click Copy Open Windows Explorer. Navigate to C:\Windows\System In right pane, scroll down to find your msimg32.dll file. Rename it to msimg32.old Right click on System folder, click Paste. That will paste new msimg32.dll file into System folder. Restart computer. See, if error will pop-up again.
P. S. Some .dll files can't be replaced in Safe Mode. In that case we'll have to USE DOS.Broni......... I did as you suggested and it WORKS !!!!!!!!!!!!! You are the very best !!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH for all of your time and effort...... jerryblueI'm glad, it worked Just to let you know, that what happened to you, is not unusual in any pre-NT Windows version, like Win 98. Some newly installed programs will overwrite particular .dll file with newer version, which Windows will read as incorrect version, giving you an error. Unfortunately, in Win 98, there is no way to prevent it.
