Answer» When saving new Word files or looking at OLD ones, all Word files are now shown in the documents files as Image files. To open, you have to select the "open with" DIALOG and select Word. What happened?When you wanna open a new file again as Word Document File click: Always use this option to open this type of file. Or something LIKE this. You can find this in Open As option when you right click on any file (Well almost any).WOW!! That was easy. TYVM!! I have no IDEA how it got started but your suggestion did the trick. Learn something new every day!Have you installed a new program for image editting? In what program did the word files open?Nope, no new software installed except Advanced System Care and that install was done AFTER the Word/Image file fiasco. BTW, ASC has really cleaned up the operation on the Compac Deskpro.
