Answer» hello, i WRONGLY CHANGE my folder security permission setting. and now i cant access my FILES. please tell me how i can restore the default setting of my folder. security setting are also changed of sub-folder please help me. To reset and back to the default setting for security permission follow STEPS : Start MENU > Type in search box " CMD " > ( I will be at top ) Right click on and select "Run as administrator" Type at the prompt : secedit /configure /cfg %windir%\inf\defltbase.inf /db defltbase.sdb /verbose Enter! This will reset all the security settings to Default.
