i get a message assertfailed\projects\wt kernel\src\win 32\cm\core\cmcodemodule.cpp:90m_code handler!=null and wonder how important that file is and can you reload it without wiping the hard drive this is on a compaq presario 5000 1.47 ghz with 512 of ram and i also wonder if you can reload just the ofending file/files i still have the system save portion on it but i don't want to destroy any of my programs if it can be ovidedwhen did you get this mesage?

just reinstall wild tanget and it should work fineAnd there goes any credibility you had...to smeezyekitty i get this message while boot is in progress wile it is loading various programs like dvd 43 and the virus scan and other to numerious to say but my appology for NOT putting a space between assert failed but i used to type at120wpm when i got out of HS if you wonder what HS is it't High School and it was a lot of Years ago you said about wild tangent games? are you saying that group of programs is the problem because this computer has a bunch of them names polar bowler polar golfer word symphony i don't know if their are any others but they are the 3 i know by name the only solution i can think of is reinstall wild tangent
to alan2273 i had done a few online games but not on this machine most if not all were done on me (windows 2000) it had checkers and other games but i don't think they were wild tangent games are you saying those games are the problem?to smeezekitty some goodnews i removed the wild tangent it STOPED the wt kedrnel but it caused a much bigger problem now installer dosn work gives error 1607 and it wont remove any thing to me the cure was worse than the desise i wond up reload the wild tangent by going back to an earler time to reloaditi went to consumer centraland they have an update but i loaded it and can't find it to update it i also lokked at all the errorsto see if their is any thing their it said about the registry i got a program for that to see if it would do any good but i manage to update kernel and are TRYING to update some of the others and see it it does any good but are still THINKING of other things because i DO NOT WANT TO THINK ABOUT THE REGISTRY but i think the real problem is it and i hope that I'AM WRONG
