Answer» A friend using XP said it was running slow. I advised him to run disk cleanup and DEFRAG. Cleanup ran ok, but when he tried to run defrag he received a message: CHKDSK is scheduled to run. It would not ALLOW him to run defrag. What can I advise him so he can run defrag. thanksThis means it can be scheduled after the next re-boot...There is a check box for this OPTION...have him check it and power down and power up again. Let it run to completion. P>S> This is sometimes a symptom of other issues so make sure he runs it...Appreciate the assistance.
