trying to open xp sp3 used RESTORE to 22.8.2010/safe mode/go to last time it worked but all I get is the xp PAGE with the download bar than it goes black &gives me the same choices of what to open with could it be nividia graphics card if i go to control panel where its listed click "OPEN" nothing comes upI don't understand what your QUESTION is.....why do you need to do a restore? What was wrong with your machine?

what u an do in this case is

> u can try opening task manager ctr +shift +esc and click on file and new and type explorer .exe
> u can also try creating a new user account by using the task manger by click on file and new and type control --> user account and create a test user account
> in case if both the both the steps doesn't work u can use xp installation CD and repair the programme files ...
