Answer» Whenever The Windos XP starts, it has been ASKING for about 2 MONTHS to download one and the same update, I think it's number is KB 67...0415 or something. After the down load is complete it does not require a restart even though I restarted it on my own several times but each day I start windows after previous day shutdown it still wants to download what looks like the same update. Is there aproblem with my Windows XP?Try going to the Microsoft Update site instead of Automatic Update and see if it installs from there. If it does not WORK, next time it says the update name, post it hereThe update it wants to download ( and I let it do it all the time) is the update number KB967715There are countless users with the same problems, and no definitive fix...you might try turning off the auto update and manually installing the update in safe MODE...there does appear to be some success doing it this way.
