I recently bought my son a new PC for his games. He has an AMD 3500 processor and it wasn't good enough to play the new games. I bought an AMD quad core 2.9 Ghz, 750 GIG HD, 4GB ram computer from HP with Windows 7.

Because he has so many files saved from his other games I want to just install his old hard drive to the new PC as a slave. But can this be done because his old hard drive which is 500 GIG has XP on it.
