I've been trying to upgrade my PC from ME to XP. I had someone assisting me so I'm not sure what they did but XP SEEMS to be the only OS on my system now and I can't revert back to ME. Ths would have been fine if only it worked. (this hapened about a year ago and I didn't check because we have 2 other pc's) I now need this one so booted xp from the cd but it seems to stop after installation when the xp process goes over to the finalizing stage with 9 minutes LEFT...  it just hangs and either goes to a blank blue screen or a screen with blue and white stripes. Can you HELP?What version of XP are you using? Can you do a reinstall? Do you have data on the machine that you need?
