Answer» XP HTML Thumbnail. Impossible, but true. What? That says it all. Just ONE PC here will show Thumbnails of HTML documents in Windows Explorer running XP. Vista you ask? No, not Vista. Windows XP Pro factory load. Does no work with any version I have from a CD.
Microsoft says it can not be done. How come I gots 'em?
How can I put them on other PCS ? It can be done easily. I wrote a SHELL extension that generates thumbnails for text files. kind of pointless, but OH well.
knowing that, it was probably simply a extension installed by another program. If any of the programmer development kits/tools are installed this makes it work as well...Oh! I have the Visual C++ 2005 installed. Is that it? Cool! So it I put in on my other machines I can get the HTML Thumbnails?
