Answer» On a new build, I got to the point where I was installing XP home. I all the sudden get stopped by a BSOD pci.sys error. I am not able to PROCEED any farther and must abort. i tried making an XP SP2 streamline install disk but for this and that reasons unable to. I read this cures the problem. How can I get around this error or fix it. thanks Have you tried RUNNING the system with just minimum hardware?
Also...try running a memory test to see if there are any issues with the meory, as well.memtest PASSED no problem hereWhat hardware is currently installed on your system?
Just run it with the BASICS...
