dear FREN im a newby
I had formatted my C drive, now while installation when setup copying the installation file my computer stop RESPONDING...

i had tried with DIFFERENT copy of cd and cd drive also changed hard disk but the same problem.

what could b the problrmAre you booting from the CD?yes carbonWhere exactly does it stop?

Also, what are the specs of the computer?
(VIDEO Card, RAM, Processor, Hard Drive Capacity, ect...)

actually for every step i have to b in hurry, if i late for few sec or else key board stop responding.

as soon as winow starting up i have to enter quicly.
last time xp setup asked option to format or leave as same an then started copying installation file and after few min copying stop responding.

i had p4 1.5 , 512mb ram 4ogb hdd, c space free 20gb already c formated.Can you try formatting the Hard Drive (this will get rid of everyone on the HD, just in case you didn't know) Quote from: JJ 3000 on September 07, 2008, 03:43:55 AM
