Answer» hello i need some answers if someone out there MIGHT know- the computer just stops at the point of -loading personal settings-just hangs ther till u turn if of! running xp pro-and have been for sometime- just RAN across this site and was hoping for some help- thanks ---------------yfordWhat did you instruct your pc to do this.......has it has to have HUMAN to tell it it what to do.If it will START in Safe Mode with networking download the User Profile Hive Cleanup Service from MS, (.msi file) INSTALL it and re-boot. Otherwise try loading the Recovery Console and run - chkdsk /r - and see if that improves matters. CLEANUP
