Answer» OK hopin u guys can help, I have a blue screen of death issue on my computer. I am running Win XPSP2 Pro on a P4 3.4 on on Intel board, 3gig DDR2 ram, 2 80gig and a 160 gig HARD drives, a sound blaster legacy S/C and a 6600GT Pci-E video card. After boot up it will go to a blue screen and give me a page fault error in a non-paged area. I have relayed the OS (not reloaded, i.e, did not reformat) and I still have to issue, however I can boot into safe mode and do everything else. I removed the S/C because the initial BSD said something about a Sound card. I tried the stop error cose it gave me into the Microsoft KB but no effect. I have not LOADED ANY new hardware or software in the last 3 months. I have ran Anti-virus and Ad-Aware and have found nothing. The video card fan is making noise but I dont really think that the problem but I could be wrong. Oh and the hard drives are NOT on a raid, just running a Main and 2 storage.
Thanks in advance and hopefully you guys can help
Have a good one, -C

Well here is your information, courtesy of Microsoft. By the way I would check out the video card fan also, that is not a good sign. It also looks like it just happens to be the very same video card that is giving you the fan problem is also giving you the bsod, are you sure you have SP2?
8-)fffreakYes positive on the SP2, and I meant that had not installed any new hardware or software, i.e new sound card or any new programs. I removed the RAM and went stick to stick and they all booted fine then Blue screened. Now I changed video cards, put in a 7800 GTX PcI-e card and got NO video at all now. I put back the original 600GT video card and still no video. I am now leaning toward a bad MoBo and am thinking of replacing it with a newer one, probsably a 945 board.
Any thoughts?
-Clist your psu specs also.
