Solve : Xp rebooting problem?

Answer»

I am running xp home.  After I installed my new sound card (pci sound blaster audigy se), my system randomly REBOOTS at times.  It will make a "errr" sound, as if its stuck on a piece of a specific sound, and reboot directly after.  I have no idea on what to do, but its driving my crazy!   Any help will be greatly appreciated. Hope theres a fix for this somewhere. THANKS:)If you did this yourself then open up the computer again and make sure that any of the cables and connectors are not touching the cpu fan and that they are all fitted tightly into the sockets on the drives and make sure the memory modules are tight in there slots, very often when fitting a new card you can easily disturb other connecting cables moving them close to the fan can make a noise somewhat like you are getting.
its thin gentle slim tiny hands like mine you require (mine are 9 and a half)that are required in some computers, but MAINLY its being observant, look where everything is, where its placed and be careful.re-seat the sound card. re-seat it tightly. get latest driver. if PROBLEM persist toss the sound card and see if it happens again.
