Answer» How do I get rid of the old OS (XP) on an old slave drive, At every boot up, i have to select which xp to Operate off of. I could'nt Format the old drive do to FILES i cant replace or transfer easly. So, i did Remove XP from that drive, but some how it still FINDS it at boot. What now?WELCOME to the CH forums. Edit your Boot.ini file to remove reference to the OS you no longer need. See here... Good luckhmmm, tried to get into my Boot.ini and can't seem to find it. I also dont wanna screw anything up. GOT any info on a ez step by step how to? plz THNX.... Not sure about a step-by-step without viewing your Boot.ini file, you can try this... BTW Boot.ini is probably a HS file. you'd have to change FOLDER Options>View in Explorer to show HS files before you can find it. Good luck
