1.	Solve : XP shut down, now won't restart...help?
Answer» Please...any advise would be great... I was using my internet EXPLORER when it froze. I tried the ctrl-alt-del and that didn't work. I let it sit for 10 or so mins and nothing. I powered down the computer and restarted it. It comes back on, but brings up the screen letting me know that it was improperly shut down and that I need to pick a start up option (i.e. Normal MODE, Safe mode, etc). I have tried them all and WINDOWS will try to start up but then just continually go back to that screen. I don't know what to do. Any ideas.....I also wanted to mention that I have not installed or updated any programs recently. I know that is ONE of the common causes. Do you have the Windows CD?
