I went on to ebay and got 2x256 mb ram cards(real IBM) for £8.00 each(about $11.00) that cured the problem. also IBM say the max is 1GB split in two slots. the money from nigeria ....... if you want to SEND me a check I will bank it and send some back......... Thanks for posting back. Regarding the money, I spent it all, already. patio wanted some free BEER, as well, so I had to cough up even more
