Answer» I am having a lot of problems, I have had xp reinstalled on my new PC which seemed to be ok until I tried to save some files to cd, with no luck, With my old pc, open folder, SELECT all, copy, PASTE onto drive and a balloon would come up saying files waiting to be WRITTEN to cd and if I click on that a window would open with the files in and I could put them on a cd with no problems If I do the above on my new pc with the xp reinstalled and click on "F" drive I GET "insert disc" and then "F:\ is not accessible incorrect function" Thanks for any help !! Ned Is your optical drive accessible for other operations?
