remove the drive to see, who is the maker
i will do that tommorow, i have project to finish tonight. thanksOk, sorry i havent been on here in a couple days but i do have some good news, i fixed my computer, i had to reformat but its fixed now, i have another problem though i cant seem to get my sound to work can someone help.Whenever you format...not reformat ...all drivers will need to be re-installed...
MBoard/chipset drivers should always go first.
They will be on a Driver CD that shipped with the machine.

Best of Luck.thanks, ill go look for that now.Ok i found the cd and when i put it in it goes to "dimension AMF resourceCd version: A07, then it tells me what drivers i have and if you click on them you some info but you can download the actual driver, Maybe im dumb but can someone helpIf you see a file called SETUP with an icon click on that...Hi, if you delete the other partitions on the harddrive you will have unused SPACE on your harddrive. Install on C:\ you will be given the option to install over/ along side(I foegot the actual wording) OR a clean install. choose a CLEAN INSTALL

It will then be formatted, and a clean install will begin (if there is a problem it will tell you). you will need the product key, USUALLY on the side of the P.C. case.

The other 2 partitions you can decide what to do after you have installed XP:
you can see whats in them in MY COMPUTER

Now a days P.C. manufacturers use a seperate PARTITION to provide instructions and acopy of your pc if anuthing goes wrong.

you can use a partition manager to ALTER the size, delete or expand a partition
