Solve : Yahoo mail sign in difficulties...yahoo in general?

Having trouble signing into my yahoo e-mail account. When I enter name & password & click on the sign in button, absolutely NOTHING happens. I can sign in on different computers, so obviously it is this particular computer.

ALSO: on this computer, we were having issues with the security certificate. The date & time was set okay.

Seem to be having problems with yahoo in general, which is our home page. Sometimes we try to go to yahoo, and "it cannot display the page"

We ran several security SCANS with: AVG & webroot. Nothing seemed to be amiss. A couple of adware removed. Still having issues. We cleared our cache & history.

Any THOUGHTS?? Doesn't seem to be a virus on our cpu.

However, the details you provide would seem to indicate otherwise.

You may wish to try again with a different browser. Otherwise read over some recommendations in the virus and Mal ware forum.

Just a heads up...
Yahoo has been wonked here on my end on and off for the past 2 weeks...

It may not be an issue on your end.It does the same on internet explorer & mozilla...we've done virus scans with webroot, avg, and all indicate no virus... ahhh!OP, do all computers have the same settings for yahoo mail?
Are you logging into the yahoo site or using a local Emil client?

Just trying to help.
try booting into safemode with networking and see if you can login properly this way.
