Answer» My Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP 2003
I kept RECEIVING messages: Memory level critically low/ remove programs to free up disk space
I removed several programs to free up space
* Afterwards - everything was working fine (as of last night) and shut down my computer
* This morning - starting up my computer - YAHOO Messenger is half blank? Does not show contacts
* My Rainlender2 CALENDAR will not open/ with messages/ X unable to create configuration file: C:\ Documents and Settings/ as well as X can't open file Error 5 Access denied
* Everything else seems to be working fine
* I tried Systems Restore/ but get the message: System Restor is suspended because there is not enough disk space on the system drive. There needs to be 200MBS of Free Space available
* I only have 75MB space available
* TRYING to defrag - I get the same message - not enough space to defrag How big is your hard drive?Hmmm...Do you have Ccleaner on your computer? If not i would suggest getting it.Uninstall all unnecessary programs.Also run the defragment under the Ccleaner.Make sure your registry keys are ok also. You can get Ccleaner from download.com Free to download and free of viruses.Quote * I only have 75MB space available This is the root of your issue... You need to free up some space on that drive... You should have 15% of the total CAPACITY as free space.Thank you everyone - it is appreciated. I had a professional come in and clean everything up - free up a ton of space. I downloaded CCleaner too!
All is well now!
