(I have an XFI sound card in my computer) How do i get rid of this annoying pop up. my mainboard is: Asus Crosshair. Thanks!Well, since the PROBLEM only occurs when you start your computer, I believe the easiest solution would be refraining from starting your computer. I mean, really, who actually needs their computer to be TURNED on?

Seriously, though, I have no clue. Maybe you should call up the Sound Max people or something.Computer_Hopeless
It's always good idea to think twice before hitting Reply button, don't you think?

Crafty
What sound card do you have?Crafty it sounds as if the Vista drivers for that card are poorly written...i agree with Broni...what card is it ?I fixed it, I just went into msconfig and unchecked the soundmax application. Thanks!

You're Welcome...but it sounds more like a Band-Aid than a fix...you may run into issues with sound down the road.
