Solve : System hung for an improper CPU setting speed? |

I think it is the CPU/PCI Frequency (mhz)? If it is it is set at 133/33.<br/><br/>Hmmm looking more and more like CPU because had the computer running for a year now and all I did before getting the message in BIOS was shut down. Then the next morning I went to boot up and received the message.<br/><br/>I have read on other forums that some ppl have resolved this problem by flashing BIOS. The CPU settings for AMD is 133 time 15 for you multiplier not 33. Make sure you are looking at FSB times Multiplier. The PCI setting is usually another line in you BIOS not in the same section as the FSB and CPU bus Multiplier. The AMD is running around 133 times 15 or 1995mhz get it. Don't go above this till you go read about overclocking. My AMD 2500 runs at the AMD2800 settings stable. 12.5 times 166mhz. Don't do it unless your memory and cpu cooling can <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/handle-767537" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about HANDLE">HANDLE</a> it. I'm not sure if it will help yours.
