Solve : USB devices not being detected? |
| Answer» <html><body><p>USB devices are not being detected on my <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/windows-22662" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about WINDOWS">WINDOWS</a> 2000 PC. The only reason I can think for this is that I mapped a number of drives, but these have all now been disconnected. I have re-booted the PC but they are still not being detected. No matter what USB device I connect they do not <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/display-25607" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about DISPLAY">DISPLAY</a> in Computer Management / Storage / Disk ManagementTry this. Go to Control Panel/System/Hardware/Device Manager...locate your USB Root Hubs and right clik all of them and select Remove. You will recieve a warning message ...ignore it.<br/>Re-boot the machine and Windows will automaticallly <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/reinstall-2983763" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about REINSTALL">REINSTALL</a> the USB device drivers.<br/>Plug in a USB <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/drive-959713" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about DRIVE">DRIVE</a> and wait a few minutes then check it in Disk Management.<br/><br/>patio.</p></body></html> | |
