Solve : Vista - Can't open jpeg files on older CD?

Answer» <html><body><p>Hi,<br/>I have a HP computer with Windows Vista. I have a CD with jpeg files on it that I made a while ago on another computer (non-vista). <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/whenever-2331622" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about WHENEVER">WHENEVER</a> I insert the <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/disc-ko-432020" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about DISC">DISC</a> into my new computers disc-drive the autoplay function seems to stall at the 'searching for <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/content-25493" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about CONTENT">CONTENT</a>' stage. The only other bit of information that may be useful is the file system is CDFS (from right-clicking the properties function).<br/>Can anyone provide a solution to this one?<br/>Thanks!<br/>ChrisHave you tried the CD in another computer?Hi, Yes, the CD works perfectly with a Windows XP computer. Other CD's work on my Vista machine too?Did you use a specific program to put the images to the CD, or did you just make it like a Data CD?<br/><br/>Some program's may not be compatible with Vista if you did it like that.<br/><br/>P.S. I'd wait for someone else to come along as I've no <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/experience-25558" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about EXPERIENCE">EXPERIENCE</a> with Vista at all, just a guess from me here.Quote from: undeze on July 09, 2007, 02:16:32 AM</p><blockquote> The only other bit of information that may be useful is the file system is CDFS (from right-clicking the properties function).<br/></blockquote>That doesn't make <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/sense-25556" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about SENSE">SENSE</a>. Per <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CDFS">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CDFS</a>, "CDfs is a virtual Linux file system that provides access to individual data and audio tracks on compact discs." Was that CD created on LINUX machine?</body></html>
