Solve : Vista standard user controls inoperative? |
Answer» <html><body><p>I am the administrator for my laptop. I wanted to take advantage of UAC for my son, blocking downloads, but when I finish setting up his controls, I get a solid, steady, blue screen, until I finally <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/hit-1028201" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about HIT">HIT</a> ctr/alt/delete - otherwise I'd be in limbo forever. Is there something goofed up in the OS? Do I have a hidden bug somewhere? I have Norton <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/360-247762" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about 360">360</a> installed. I don't <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/want-1448756" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about WANT">WANT</a> to be forced to take my laptop to the Geek Squad or some other place that will charge me $100+ for a simple fix. Or do I? HELP! Ginny Welcome Aboard first of all...<br/><br/>Apparently this is not a random occurence in Vista.<br/><br/><a href="https://www.microsoft.com/betaexperience/nlarchive/bexp2/issue_7/MyWindowsVistaExperience.aspx">Here</a> for example is one man's plight.<br/><br/>I haven't run into this yet on my Vista machine nor do i have a quick solution.<br/><br/>So <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/far-459491" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about FAR">FAR</a> there is nothing in the <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/ms-238840" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about MS">MS</a> KB about it either.</p></body></html> | |
