Solve : Vista startup problem?

Answer» <html><body><a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/hello-484176" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about HELLO">HELLO</a> everybody, I badly need help on my computer. Every time I turn it on it tells me "Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/change-238106" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about CHANGE">CHANGE</a> might be the cause". It gives the options to run safe mode, use older setting, and to run windows regularly, but then in a couple of seconds it just freezes and shuts off after. Any help is appreciated. What Operating System?<br/><br/>Did you make any changes before this happened?Vista<br/><br/>I don't know any change that I know of. I'll ask around to see if anyone messed with the computer. If you have the Windows CD, you might <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/want-1448756" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about WANT">WANT</a> to try a Repair Install.Ok, I now know how it <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/got-23540" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about GOT">GOT</a> messed up. A stupid friend of mine tried to connect an internal hdd adapter kit, but said it made a weird noise when he used it to connect his laptop hd to the computer. <br/><br/>I would try to repair it with the windows cd, but the other problem is that the computer freezes in a couple seconds when it starts up.I don't think it will freeze when you boot from the Windows CD.<br/><br/>Try it and tell us what happens.  The BIOS <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/could-410026" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about COULD">COULD</a> be looking for this other HDD that was connected which could be causing windows errors</body></html>
