Solve : Why cursor bleep suddenly changes position? |
| Answer» <html><body><p>Hi, I have this irritating problem lately (only started having this problem after changing into Windows Vista & Compaq laptop).<br/>While typing a sentence, the cursor will <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/suddenly-654932" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about SUDDENLY">SUDDENLY</a> jumped to somewhere in the middle of the sentence, resulting in me typing in the middle of an 'already typed' sentence. Usually, I will not be <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/able-361137" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about ABLE">ABLE</a> to monitor where my words are since we just type continuously. So with this problem, a lot of my sentences are disrupted and I find it <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/extremely-455606" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about EXTREMELY">EXTREMELY</a> irritating.<br/>Anyone knows why this happens and the solution ?<br/><br/>Eg > I am typing -"Today is a lovely day and..."<br/>The cursor jumps to middle > "Today is a , and I intend to talk a walk ..lovely day and "<br/><br/><br/>Rgds<br/>SereneI sometimes have this problem when I accidentally touch the mouse pad with my hand.<br/>Do you think you might be <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/touching-3226249" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about TOUCHING">TOUCHING</a> the mouse pad unintentionally (assuming this is a new laptop)?Go to control panel, click mouse icon, go to device settings tab and disable touch pad or check box to hide cursor while typing.Just click the button at top of touch pad it freezes the mouse.on Compaq laptop.<br/>it took me a while to figure it out on mine<br/> Thanks for the info <strong>flipflopjd</strong> Thank you all for the help rendered. I couldn't understand what was going on until I realized that my wrists were hitting the touchpad.</body></html> | |
