Solve : Windows 7 & Mouse Pointer? |
Answer» <html><body><p>A few months ago I got a new laptop, a Dell <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/latitude-540038" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about LATITUDE">LATITUDE</a> E6510 with a Windows <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/7-240263" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about 7">7</a> operating system. A few weeks ago I started having a problem with the mouse pointer, and it has got progressively worse. The problem is this--after I have the screen full for a while looking at the internet or an application, or after the laptop has gone into hibernation because it's been idle for a while, and then I close the window or <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/hit-1028201" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about HIT">HIT</a> the "on" botton and then move my mouse pointer over the icons on my <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/desktop-949558" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about DESKTOP">DESKTOP</a> to click on something else the pointer won’t highlight any of the desktop icons, and when I click on them nothing happens. I can still highlight the icons in the ribbon on the bottom of the page (Start, open <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/programs-239435" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about PROGRAMS">PROGRAMS</a>, etc.) and when I click on them they open just fine. If I log on and off the problem goes away and everything goes back to normal. The problem isn’t my USB Logitech mouse because it happens using the touch pad too. Any help would be greatly appreciated. As I said above, the problem is occurring more frequently, several times a day at least now.<br/><br/>Hello,<br/><br/>It should have a factory warranty for 1 yr. min. You should give Dell support a call if so.Howdy Lostcoast.....</p></body></html> | |
