| Answer» <html><body><p>My usb doesn't see my new external cd burner. I downloaded the fix for this but it doesn't do anything. It recommends doing something with BIOS. What is that? My digital camera works on usb, but my webcam quit working years ago, but I don't use it so I never tried to fix it. It was the only one I found that said that. I used the trouble shooting procedures from Iomega, and I thought I downloaded everything they said I needed, but nothing happened. I don't always understand everything they talk about and their instructions are very hard to follow. The last thing they say is to change the BIOS. There is no instructions for that and I can't seem to find help with that.<br/>I did notice today that in the Device Manager under Hard Disk Controller it says "! I did see the unofficial version but I was afraid to use it. The Auto-Patch showed the 5 windows updates that I downloaded over the years from MS, so I used it. The CD burner works but now I have many other problems.
