Solve : Windows Crashes When I Run Certain Programs?

Answer» <html><body><p>Okay, hopefully I'm doing this correctly. I have a gateway laptop PC running Windows XP. When I run certain <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/programs-239435" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about PROGRAMS">PROGRAMS</a>, which are all <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/computer-243299" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about COMPUTER">COMPUTER</a> games of some type, my computer sometimes shuts itself down and says it's going on standby. When I reboot, I have to restart windows and half the time that doesn't work anyway and windows freezes. When it does work, I have to tell my computer to <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/go-468886" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about GO">GO</a> into the "last known good configuration" and when windows comes back on, it always brings up my system 32 folder. And this only happens when I'm running computer games of some sort, usually not ones from discs, but ones I've downloaded off of Big Fish Games or Nancy Drew games. Does <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/anyone-380251" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about ANYONE">ANYONE</a> have any idea what is going on? It's driving me crazy. Any and all help would be <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/much-249971" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about MUCH">MUCH</a> appreciated.
