To find: cot2θ - \(\frac{1}{sin^2θ}\) 

∵ cosecθ  = \(\frac{1}{sinθ}\)

cosec2θ  = \(\frac{1}{sin^2θ}\)

cot2θ - \(\frac{1}{sin^2θ}\) = cot2θ - cosec2θ 

Also, we know that 1 + cot2 θ = cosec2θ

⇒ cot2θ – cosec2θ = – 1

cot2θ - \(\frac{1}{sin^2θ}\) = cot2θ – cosec2θ = – 1
