Solve : How to make a spy cam?

Answer»

I had a post running a while back an wasnt quite clearer on what I wanted to do. This is what I want nothing real fancy just a way to MAKE a homemade one with out attepting to get parts. Also I did goolge didnt really help...why do you want to make a spy CAM......To spy on things. Duh.

All I can think of is a USB Webcam with an extremely long cable.Ok then, who do you want to spy on..... cheap easy room surveillanceMy room, cause I really cant fund such a venture as too get a real high priced one. But I have everything to make one. There are plenty of wireless camera solutions, however they're not cheap. But would allow you to put the camera ANYWHERE without a cord.

Example of some matches on new eggThats the downside.I was able to find a nice wireless one on geeks. However at this time I need other parts but I dont think I will get it yet cause it runs me close to a hundred an nineteen dollarsHeh, fiber optics. No parts for my one pc. I thought it was slow processing the info but I mite get it till I have more money, not reall todally sure since I have some I didnt put in yet but its not alot.Make something like this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16881124043

Not saying identical, but hide a small budget camera in anything someone would just flat overlook, I plan too do that for my own room here soon. Newegg has some cheap camera's too do this with also.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16881124056

or this one:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16881124024

And when I say anything, I mean it. find something that will sit facing the area too hide it in, and a way too ROUTE the cable undetected, and your good. The one seems like a good DEAL around what I seen at geeks not sure if I will get it now or not but it seems good at the moment.

Solve : Famous one liners...?

Answer»

One of my favorite movie one-liners:

"It's like watching a bunch of RETARDS TRYING to #### a doorknob." -Patches O'Houlihan, from 'Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story'

Oh, that and:
"Son, you're about as useful as a ####-flavored LOLLIPOP." Same GUY, same movie. You fill in the blank because it wouldn't be appropriate for me to use that word here. They both have 4 letters, right?

Broni saw the sign "Low Miles -- Runs Like New!" and couldn't PASS it up!
Love it. I got one too, only black, the only other color available. I also got the cape in white(wind FOIL)? It took awhile for me and the passenger (my wife) to get used to pumping the pedals to make it go.

Over here we call it the jogger in honor of our Iron Man Tri-Athelon. I find it a bit faster than my John Deere lawn TRACTOR. Thats o.k. because I stay in the right lane or side walk if available.

One thing I would advise if you are prone to motion sickness is to wait an hour after eating before driving anywhere, and avoid any quick turns. Our kid rides on the back. On our first outing I MADE a quick right and he SLID off the back. He's o.k. just bruised his arse.

haha, come on man.

I honestly don't know what "rasical" MIGHT mean... It's not an English word. I am guessing from your "shocked" emoticon that the word that Squall is hinting at is a strong one, so is the "rasical black word" the one I think it might be? The "N word"? If so, shame on you, squall, for bringing that here, and you are a fool for comparing the word NOOB to it. I am actually running out of patience with the "S person".
I believe that they meant "racial", in which case I would MAKE the same assumption as you, Dias.
Highly offensive words such as that are not just slang.
I think Dias has said it all really.Fair enough but its still a label, all labels are bad.squall, you're deep in a hole. Stop digging.
In other words, stay away from the 'reply' button

Anyway, that's rubbish. If I call the kid next door a "scamp", his dad may WELL offer me a beer. If I call him a N****r, his dad will come around with a baseball bat to bash my head in. So not all labels are the same.

I think squall's PROBLEM is that he has the computer-forum equivalent of verbal diarrhoea. Since nobody is going to do anything about it, it will just run and run. There your cause for so many suicides a year. You've never been labeled even thought this advocates to go against what you think my view will remain the same. Solve : An Interesting Article?

Answer»

Taken from: http://www.topsoftwareinfo.com/malware-software/consent-and-legality.html

Quote

Consent And Legality
Malicious software is often sold bundled with other software that contains a EULA, or end-user license agreement, which the computer owner has to accept before they can install the software.

In general, unauthorized access to a computer is illegal, according to computer crime laws like the United States Fraud and Abuse Act. Most people also will tell you that they would never authorize the installation, access or operation of malware (malicious software) on their computers. On the surface it would seem that malware installation, access or operation on their computers should be a criminal act. In fact, there have been some high-profile cases where law enforcement has prosecuted authors of viruses, worms and other malware. But as you can imagine, there are always exceptions to the rule.

A form of malware known as surveillance software, is one of those exceptions. There have been very few prosecutions of authors of this form of malware. In fact, it may surprise you to know that many authors of malware programs actually operate as legitimate public businesses.

Authors of malware have claimed that their software is only installed on the computers of people that have given their consent. This can happen because often malware is sold bundled with other software that the computer owner may want to install. While that by itself doesn't imply consent, QUITE often the other software installation will contain a EULA, or end-user license agreement, which the computer owner has to accept before they can install the other software. And inside this EULA, is usually some kind of legal language that may not even be understandable to the average person that the user consents to the installation of all parts of the software. It may not even mention the malware part of the software by name to make it even more confusing. As you may know or have guessed, most people don't read these EULAs, which are usually very long even though the software authors say it is a fully enforceable contract with all the legal binding necessary to prove consent.

These EULAs, also referred to as Clickwrap Agreements, are seemingly everywhere, it seems everybody uses them. However, almost no case law has resulted from their use. While in some common law jurisdictions it has been established that Clickwrap Agreements can be a binding contract, this has been shown to be true only in certain circumstances. This means that not every Clickwrap Agreement is a contract, nor is every term in it enforceable. If the contract appears excessive in length, or if key provisions of the contract terms are made inconspicuous or intentionally ambigous then this can cause Clickwrap Agreements to be rejected as contracts of adhesion.

Of course, even if there is a EULA, but the software installs itself on your computer surreptitiously, say from a drive-by download from a web site where you never get an opportunity to approve or disapprove the contract terms, then there is no way an enforceable contract can exist.

Some states have already passed laws criminalizing some forms of malware. This includes software that alters web browser settings, monitors keystrokes, or disables security software on the computer without the consent of the owner or operator of the computer. This has resulted in some fines and out-of-court settlements with some major companies CAUSING them to stop distributing their malware. Part of the reason the companies were taken to court were that their malware was installing itself in ways making it almost impossible to remove it. In addition, some malware variants were caught replacing legitimate ads on web pages with the malware author's own ads, diverting revenue from web site owners to the malware author.

Since a lot of this malware seemed to be centered around "forced advertising", it makes you wonder if the advertisers themselves might be held accountable in court for all this. Sadly, so far the courts have not really made any inroads in this area. Advertisers have acquired a sort of Teflon coating due to the fact that they usually don't do business directly with malware authors. Usually there is a subcontractor in the mix, acting as a middleman, who is getting paid by the advertiser for the number of impressions, or appearances of the advertisement. The malware author is the agent that provides those "impressions". The good news is that a few large companies upon finding their ads being shown via malware, have "fired" the advertising agencies responsible.

Strangely, some of the malware authors have actually sued some web site owners for calling a spade a spade. Due to the financial costs involved in such litigation however, most of these cases have been settled out of court. Fortunately, there are still some web sites where you can find descriptions of the harmful behavior of several different kinds of existing malware.

As you can see, the issue of legality of malware and of getting user consent is not the simple issue it would seem to be on the surface. It becomes more important for us to be vigilant about what software we allow or disallow to be installed on our computers. But since there is still the kind of malware that doesn't even ask for our consent, it becomes a necessity for us to use a malware detection program on our computers on a regular basis, or even better, one that can operate in real-time.

Malware detection programs cannot be used in isolation, however. A good firewall, anti-virus, adware and evidence removal software suite needs to be added in conjunction with it to be truly effective. With so many ways for our computers to become INFECTED, it's important to close up as many holes in our computer security as possible. Remember, the chain of security is only as good as it's weakest link.

EULAlyzer - Making it all easy

EULAlyzer can analyze license agreements in seconds, and provide a DETAILED listing of potentially interesting words and phrases. DISCOVER if the software you're about to install displays pop-up ads, transmits personally identifiable information, uses unique identifiers to track you, or much much more.

The Benefits

* Discover potentially hidden behavior about the software you're going to install
* Pick up on things you missed when reading license agreements
* Keep a saved database of the license agreements you view
* Instant results - super-fast analysis in just a second

And with additional features like the EULA Research Center, which optionally allows users to anonymously submit license agreements they scan to help us to further improve the program, everyone can be a part of the effort to make something that used to be so tedious, so easy.

When installing software, never just click past the license agreement. Pop it into EULAlyzer, and EULAlyze it!

*Note: This program does not provide legal advice. It can only highlight information that you may want to consider before making your own decision whether to agree to a license agreement or not. You should always consult a lawyer (or other authorized individual) for advice on legal issues.

Interesting, indeed.

I'll have to look for the EULAyzer...

As for the rest, I'm reminded of my favorite lawyer joke:

God must be a lawyer.

God must be a lawyer because He created the chaos and darkness before He created the order and light.

Some interesting video's. Although Planet X has been discredited and apparently does not EXIST. See the wiki on it for a easy to read brief overview.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planet_X

The New World Order video was interesting but had a lot of discrepancies (myths / conspiracy theories) too.

North American Union - Big HYPE and not true.

9/11 not being true? It's an interesting thought I've seen a lot about it but after reading a large portion of the FEMA report all the conspiracy theories I've known about were discussed and proven wrong.

http://www.fema.gov/rebuild/mat/wtcstudy.shtm

RFID chip in everyone - doubtful, but it is true that it's in the passports. As far as I'm aware too the RFID chips have a limited range so if it was implanted in everyone I think it would be pretty hard to monitor them.

I do agree with the videos thought about the EDUCATION system in the United States.. it's getting real bad and doesn't seem like it's going to improve any time soon.

Solve : How's it going with your girls/boys??

Yeah, I thought while TYPING a comment in another topic: hey, this could be quite an interesting subject to talk about. The reason why I made this topic. Feel free to discuss about your love lives and the stuff that involves it. To get the thing started, I'll copy my comment from the other topic into here.

The girl i like is in ONE word: AWESOME! She's just like me, except for the fact she's a girl. We both share the same interests, like animals, play videogames, share the same sense of humor etc. Plus the fact that we have so much in common. No sirree, i don't think this is a coincidence. One problem though, she lives in a city that's about 1 hour travelling time away from me. Noramlly, I wouldn't care how far away she lives from me. The only thing is that it'll cost me lots of money to keep on visiting her. And it'll take at least 2 years for me to get my driver's licence. So, that's a problem.

Emiel Love is a two way road emieleke0013,have her meet you half way.

I only ever loved one girl and we have been together since 1969.

@ Aegis: that's EXACTLY what i'm planning to do. Right now, I am attempting to ask her out on a date. You know, just to get to know eachother better.

Emiel...I mean you are only half way from one another.
Thanks man, that really helps. The thing is: I need to be careful with my next move. I tried to ask her out for a date several times in a row, but to continue asking could annoy her. I think i'm going to take things easy for a while. Back to the beginning (which was 1 week ago ). I really don't want to mess this up, because I'm having a very good feeling about this one. So, that's why i'm playing in ''safe mode''. Maybe, if things work out, she can stay at my place a couple of nights. That's something we're considering once we know eachother better.

Emiel Agreed but, looking at your age that would be a careful proposition.

Your education and college is in your head, not your trousers.Remember
that.

It's not what you think, I don't want her for the s-e-x. It's that I love her, and I want us to have a good time together. But you're right, I should also concentrate on my education (I'm typing this while being at school, how ironic is that ). Although it's going to be tough since Sharona's (that's her name) is constantly in my mind, it's so hard to stop thinking about her. CD, i agree with you, patience is a virtue. I'll just relax and see how things will work out. As I said, I really don't want to mess this up, so having patience is the most important thing.

Emiel

p.s.: I really appreciate all your help guys, I'm really having the feeling I can be open and honest here. A world of loness is a painful one. The joy of being with someone you care for can make you forget. No longer bond by earthly posestions. Why I exist I used to ask myself then I found out. There are others now that saved me from myself.

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His Father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.

The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence. Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all.

He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper.

The days passed and the young boy was finally able to TELL his father that all the nails were gone.

The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said, 'You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. But It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound will still be there. A verbal wound is as bad as a PHYSICAL one. Remember that friends are very rare jewels, indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed. They lend an ear, they share words of praise and they always want to open their hearts to us.'

So remember when things are bad someone is there. Word of advice.I'm speechless. Seriously, this is truly something I will remember. I think everyone can learn a lesson from this. Friends should be treated like they are priceless jewels. But that's only logical.

EmielI should think about changing this topic's name. It's getting a bit inappropriate.

Solve : Typing Backwords - sdrowkcaB gnipyT?

Answer»

I discovered this a few days ago.
If you have a few minutes, no harm in trying this:

First, you need Firefox (haven't tried with FF3)
Go to this wikipedia site:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piano

No scroll down until you see two Play buttons on the right side with an option to hear a 19th century piano sound and a modern piano sound.

Click the 19th century piano sound button and after about 2 seconds, quickly go to Google
Now your text should be typing backwards.

To close firefox, you need to go to Task Manager and End Firefox.exedidn't do anything..... cool article thought. I just got done tuning my piano. well, sort of done. It sounds better, but not great. it worked for me for about a second. i tried to type in google and it typed it in backwards. It PLAYED Number Nine from the White Album forwards...sʇɹɐuƃǝQuote from: patio on May 27, 2008, 06:23:31 PM

It played Number Nine from the White Album forwards...
I haven't heard the sounds YET...I've been too busy playing around with typing backwords Nothing happens here... I think you need a slower computer for it to GET caught up in closing what I presume is the Java program that plays the sound.

Speaking of pianos, both of them need tuning desperately here... if only it cost less. Quote

Solve : Phone home: Purported UFO video to be shown Friday?

Answer»

A video that purportedly shows a LIVING, breathing space alien will be shown to the news media Friday in Denver.

Jeff Peckman, who is pushing a ballot initiative to create an Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission in Denver to prepare the city for close encounters of the alien kind, said the video is authentic and convinced him that aliens exist.

"As impressive as it is, it's still one tiny portion in the context of a vast amount of peripheral evidence," he said Wednesday. "It's REALLY the final VISUAL confirmation of what you already know to be true having seen all the other evidence."

http://www.rockymountainnews.com/news/2008/may/28/purported-ufo-video-be-shown-friday/

If someone happens to find a posting of this video feel free to post it here.

what a quack.I believe aliens do exist in some form in the universe but they wouldn't visit earth without the proper security measures.

I watched a Discovery Channel documentary about this. PROFESSOR Stephen Hawking noted that finding earth would be like finding a needle in a haystack, assuming the aliens would even be INTERESTED in visiting earth and assuming they can even get here.

Just don't break your system while you're doing it. i never rush my builds. rushing causes problems and it makes the comp LOOK messy inside. That was really amazing Nathan.I can get ready to assemble a
computer in 3 minutes...... Usually TAKES me half an hour to an hour. I like to make sure everything is set just the right way and those stupid heat sinks never want to stay down for me. And I usually end up forgetting SOMETHING that requires me to take everything out to get it in.

Daly would be proud...remember, Vote early and often !

LOL! patio.

But, if you happen to be in Texas and can't follow those INSTRUCTIONS,
just do the Texas 2 step..... Pshh Google stupid.. Never. Although if they were really wanting to bring this to attention they would change their results pages black too not just the home page. Most people search from their browser window and don't even see the home page and they didn't change their logo.

Quote
Apparently, an all white computer screen, such as an empty Word page, or the Google page, uses 74 watts to display, whereas a black screen consumes only 59 watts. So claimed Mark Ontkush in a post on the ecoIron blog in January. Doing a few back of the ENVELOPE calculations based on numbers of users per day and wattage for different coloured screen from EnergyStar, Ontkush figured that the energy saving would be 750 Megawatt hours per year if Google had a black screen.

Link

Mark Onktush's info is incorrect...a black background uses more power to render...i'll dig out the link.

SourceInteresting. While reading through the article and all the comments someone mentioned the below link, also some good information.

http://savingenergy.wordpress.com/2006/11/21/saving-energy-one-monitor-at-a-time/I've found nothing but conflicting info on this Topic. I remember this coming up a few years back and it was hotly debated even back then.
But i think it's nothing but silly to think if everyone's background was black we would save energy to any extent....heck just turn the darn thing off if you want to make a difference.

On top of that i have to change the background to read it properly ANYWAYS so what's being accomplished ? ?
Just a mini Rant.I think it was truly MEANT to be visual, and not literal power savings.
I mean, I KNOW most of us know that -- I'm just sayin' that Google
was trying to get the attention of the people who use their engine,
and remind them that for one hour, we should turn off non-essential
lighting.

Heck, my mini-rant is that I'm now reluctant to upgrade my computer,
even if economics was not an issue. One thousand watt power supplies?
May as well just turn on my wife's hair dryer, and let it run...

Solve : 1968 perspective of 2008?

Answer»

I found this while surfing the web.

What will life be like in 2008?
Heh. Well the article said it's "Nov. 18, 2008" so maybe we'll get to the abilities mentioned in the article by then. I'd like to accelerate to 150 mph in the city’s suburbs, then hits 250 mph in less built-up areas or spend a week at an UNDERSEA resort. OK that is really cool!!!

It was written in 1968, but many of the items listed we have or will have soon. BUT, I want the SELF maintaining house they mentioned!

I just think about the people who wrote it must have thought about all the sci-fi stuff and the new emerging technology to write this article.

If you think about it, we have alot of that stuff and more. And some of the stuff is being worked on and looked at.

The most expensive Tom-toms and Garmens really do read the traffic reports , and with traiffic cameras everywhere, that system should be uprgaded in the years to come. And with the little micro chips (GPS) on most big transportation containers now, it would not be hard to PUT those in cars to be read by other cars.

And the computer that you can draw on - doesn't fashion people and architects USE some sort of program like that. With a TYPE of PDA pen.

BUT - as I mentioned I want the self maintaining home - or a robot to do it!
(I will gladly do the yard.)

Until I have that - we are still in the dark ages! :-)

WOW!!!!Something tells me that the winning bidder does not have that much money.. The winning bid honestly isn't all that impressive when you notice the starting bid was $3 mil. Not exactly a bidding frenzy.
And the listing claims the collection is valued at over $50 mil. If that's true the WINNER has actually made QUITE a bargain.3 million vinyl records alone will be worth megabucks. I sold some vinyl on Ebay recently and if the genre is not Judy Garland or Bing Crosby type rubbish, you can make some good money.
Whoever won the auction is sitting on a little goldmine.

i just thought i would put out a poll to see what the interest in this technology would be.
i have been doing alot of research into this subject, as the price of gas goes ever higher.
(i've been told by summer we will be paying $4.00 for a gallon of gas)
i would if they were >$30,000. they not only have to make eco-friendly cars, but they need to make them affordable.I cant afford a vehicle...
Also, I cant work here either, since there are no places to work.. unless I want to work in the harvest.. which, does not sound fun. Quote from: vettelady on March 03, 2008, 03:50:57 PM

Good old supply and demand. There is a huge demand for gas, so they've got US. It is a real shame.....

As far as electric vehicles go - if and when we all have to use them, then the demand will be for electricity. If the vehicles are rechargable, then the price of electricity will sky rocket even worse that it is now.

The energy to move that car came from somewhere.

What made the electricity (if using rechargable batteries)? A coal burning generator? Steam made with a nuclear reactor?

i have been looking into all of this, not just the price of gas, but my boyfriend wants to build an ev, it would be similiar to the tesla, but for a single person, like something you can use to get back and forth to work and run some errands.
he has already built one (using regular car batteries) but with the lithium ion batteries that the tesla is using, the range would be far supioror.
the only thing is the cost of the lithium battery itself.

the next few paragraphs i got from another post at an ev site.
it MENTIONS how in the long run, even using coal power plants for the electricity. it would still be more effient.
it starts off mentioning the tesla, which sells for $100,000

Ok guys there is one reason and ONE reason only that the tesla costs so much money. The answer is a number (no its not 42)

6,831

Know what that is? Thats the result of Chevron buying and sitting on the patent for the only currently tried and true VIABLE battery tech for EV's

Thats how many CONSUMER lithium battery cells Tesla had to use to make there car work. Nearly 7 thousand freaking batteries!!!

Do the math. Imagine the consquences and you will QUICKLY see why this car costs that much money.

GM had a battery that could take a car over 100 miles for $4500

THERE cost to build this car ? $80,000 BEFORE you say thats a lot consider it was a bleeding edge hand made prototype of which LESS than 1,000 were made

If you ramped up production of an $80,000 prototype to millions of cars it would cost less than $10k to make them......

want 200 miles? easy toss in TWO $4500 battery packs. I have seen people SPEND more than 9k on leads for HALF that range. 10+ years later (today) it would cost a lot less than $4500

Sadly this patent does not expire till 2015 so until someone invents something NEW (and the only ones with the REAL money to do the R&D needed also have the MOST to lose by doing so...)

Result - We get screwed. GM sold controlling stock in ovonics (battery tech) to Texaco. Chevron bought Texaco.

Chevron has controlling share in ECD Cobasys and has VETO rights on ANY usage of the battery technology. IE NO EV's allowed.

EV's at minimum 6 times more efficient than Gas cars so EVEN IF you transfer the pollution to a COAL plant (recharging the car) your producing 1/6th the pollution.

To top that off Nano Solar just shipped there first solar panels for 90cents a watt IF they can get them to US consumers at or near that price then consider this.

$1600 for the grid tie in and $500 for the solar panel and driving your car would not become FREE and 100% pollution free. That $500 panel would produce MORE E each month than you would use charging your car. You see that E to the utility so its makes power for you from morning to night and you get the credit on your E Bill. that credit will be larger than your deficit to charge the car. 100% free to Drive 100% pollution free. Its a win win.

I want an EV so badly I am dieing for one. I would save over $3 grand a year in gasoline!!
gotta love how the gas companies control our economy. Quote from: vettelady on March 03, 2008, 07:03:53 PM

Road tax? ... I doubt it.

For example, the last I knew, when farmers have their own gas and diesel pumps for fueling their tractors - technically if they put any of that fuel in a car or truck, it is not legal. Because... no road tax was paid on that fuel.
It was intended and sold for ag use.

Your and my current (no pun intended) electric bills do not include any road taxes that I know of.
They really couldn't charge it on the whole bill either.

They'd have to find a way to come up with that money that would no longer be coming in, if the tax revenue on gas and diesel dropped off DUE to less consumption.
And THAT is a scary thought.... turning them loose to find another way to tax! Not saying that it might not be necessary.... am saying that it is scary and needs to be thought through in advance by us peons out here that bear the load.

with the technology finally trickeling out, some people are talking about getting rid of the gas tax, and just making a tax on everyone who drives per mile.
that would be something to see.

anyway, this new tech, with evs is so new that not even 1% of the cars on the market are just electric.
there are alot of hybrids out there, nothing compared to the millions of reg. cars.

while we are on the subject of the gas tax, there are quite a few people out there driving around on veg. oil.

i highly doubt they are paying any tax on that

And we wonder what's wrong with out society???

It's not that I'm better or so high-and-mighty, but a lot of the problems we have in our society can be solved by asking, "What if it was me in the situation?"

One wonders about the restraining order...

There is a certain humor, and I get it, but still...to stand there and watch a house burn down...Haaha

It's probably a controlled burn. Some people donate their old, dilapidated, falling apart houses to fire stations for training.
Either that, or photoshop. I assume, nobody took it seriously...Quote from: Broni on March 10, 2008, 10:00:59 AM

good ANALOGY although I wouldn't consider that a theory. I would consider that rounding or even possibly assuming given the right circumstances. XDQuote from: WillyW on March 01, 2008, 10:32:02 AM

Solve : There is NO uninstalling once you upgrade to....?

Answer»
DEAR Tech Support:

Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources.

In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activity. Applications such as Poker Night 10.3 , Football 5.0 , Hunting and Fishing 7.5 , and Golfing 3.6.

I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favorite applications. I'm thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0 , but the uninstall doesn't work on Wife 1.0 . Please help!

Thanks,
Troubled User.....

REPLY:
Dear Troubled User:

This is a very common problem that men complain about.

Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING !!! It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 7.0 .. It is impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system once installed.

You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed to not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under Warnings-Alimony/Child Support . I recommend that you keep Wife 1.0 and work on improving the situation. I suggest installing the background application 'Yes Dear' to alleviate software AUGMENTATION.

The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE! because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway.

Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very HIGH maintenance . Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean and Sweep 3.0 , Cook It 1.5 and Do Bills 4.2 .

However, be very careful how you use these programs . Improper use will cause the system to launch the program Nag Nag9.5 .. Once this happens, the only WAY to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0 !

WARNING!!! DO NOT, under any circumstances, install Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3 . This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system!

Best of luck,
Tech Support Broni, the old ones are always the best!! Good one Broni....It reminded me of this one.

Solve : Homeland Security?

Just wanted to let you know the New Homeland Security Bill has passed. Things will be different now and Internet surfing as you know it will be tracked by what the FBI calls a "non-intrusive method." The FBI says you will not notice anything different!

For a demonstration, click on the link below and navigate around the page: Homeland Security

Heh got me a little WORRIED there. I know Bush was recently trying to GET another spying bill and I thought this meant it ALREADY got passed.Man, I hope things get BETTER after Bush is out of office...
Were heading into the pits, and the next thing you know, there's going to be another depression. HALF the people of today -- more than half -- cant live on their own without support of some economically driven source.
