8.

If the sides of the first rectangle are in the ratio 4: 3 and those of the second rectangle are in the ratio 2: 1,which rectangle is longer?slove and explain.......

Answer»

Let the ratio of FIRST rectangle is 4x : 3x
Length is 4x
Breadth is 3x
Perimeter is 84 cm
2(l+b) = 84
2(4x+3x) = 84
7x = 42
x = 6
Length is 4x = 24 cm
Breadth is 3x = 18 cm

Ratio of second rectangle is 2X : 1x
Length is 2x
Breadth is 1x
Perimeter is 84 cm
2(l+b) = 84
3x = 42
x = 14 cm
Length is 2x = 28 cm
Breadth is 1x = 14 cm

Second rectangle is 4cm longer than first rectangle

Should be answered by Higher rankers .Who are Samaritans ..? Name some of them ?

Answer»

Answer:

this is not math

still

Step-by-step explanation:

Ancestrally, Samaritans claim descent from the tribe of Ephraim and tribe of Manasseh (two sons of Joseph) as well as from the Levites,[1] who have links to ancient Samaria (now constituting the majority of the territory known as the West Bank) from the period of their ENTRY into Canaan, while some Orthodox Jews suggest that it was from the beginning of the Babylonian captivity up to the Samaritan polity under the rule of Baba Rabba. Samaritans used to include descendants whose ancestry was ascribed to the Benjamin tribe, but this line BECAME extinct in the 1960s.[7] According to Samaritan tradition, the split between them and the Judean-led Southern Israelites began during the biblical time of the priest Eli when the Southern Israelites split off from the central ISRAELITE tradition, as they perceive it.[8]

In the Talmud, a central post-exilic religious text of Rabbinic Judaism, the Samaritans are called Cutheans (Hebrew: כּוּתִים‎, Kutim), referring to the ancient city of Kutha, geographically located in what is today Iraq.[9] In the biblical account, however, Kuthah was one of several cities from which people were brought to Samaria,[10] and they worshiped Nergal.[11][12] Modern genetics partially support both the claims of the Samaritans and the account in the Hebrew Bible (and Talmud), suggesting that the genealogy of the Samaritans lies in some combination of these two ACCOUNTS.[13] This suggests that the Samaritans remained a genetically isolated population.[14]

the sides of a rectangle are in the ratio 5:4 and it's perimeter is 90 CM. find its length and breadth.

Answer»
\large \tt AHOY!! \:

ATQ, the sides of the rectangle are in ratio 5 : 4 and it's perimeter is 90cm.

let it's length be 5X and breadth be 4X

the formula for the perimeter of the rectangle is 2 ( l + b )

so here we will simply put 5x in place of "l" (length) and 4x in place of "b" (breadth)

on solving we get,

=> 2 ( 5x + 4x ) = 90cm

=> 9x = 90/2

=> 9x = 45cm

=> x = 45/9

=> x = 5cm

hence, it's length = 5x = 5 × 5 = 25cm and breadth = 4x = 4 × 5 = 20cm

\large \tt HOPE  \: THIS \:  HELPS!!

16 by 15 + 20 by 50 + 50 by 60

Answer»

16/15 + 20/50 + 50/60

the LCM of 15 , 50, 60 will be= 300

so 16/15 x 300= 320

20/50 x 300 = 120

50/60 x 300 = 250

so 320+120+250/300=

79/30 =  around 2.66

The dimension of a rectangular box are in the ratio of 2:3:4 and the difference between the cost of covering it which sheet of paper at the gates of rupees 8 and rupees 9.50 per metre square is rupees 1248.Find the dimension of the box.PLZ ANSWER BRIEFLY.

Answer»

Let DIMENSION of a rectangulqr box be 2x 3X and 4x then
TSA = 2 ( 2x * 3x + 3x * 4x + 4x * 2x )

= 52 x^2

C1 = cost of coveribg at rs.8/unit = 52x^2 * 8
C2 = cost of covering at rs.9.50 = 52x^2 * 9.50

given
C2 - C1 = 1248

52x^2 * 9.50 - 52x^2 * 8 = 1248

taking 52x^2 common

52x^2 ( 9.50 - 8) = 1248

52x^2 * 3/2 = 1248

78x^2 = 1248

x^2 = 1284 / 78

x^2 = 16

x = 4

Find the sum of all the 3 digit natural number which are divisible by 13.

Answer»

Heya mate, Here is UR answer

a(first TERM) = 104

d(common difference)=13 (divisiblity by 13)

an(LAST term) =988

a+(n-1)d =988

104+ (n-1)13=988

(n-1)13=988-104

(n-1)13=884

n-1=884/13

n-1= 68

n=68+1

n=69.

Sn = n/2 (a+an)

sn =  \frac{69}{2}  \times (104 + 998)

sn =  \frac{69}{2}  \times 1102

sn = 69 \times 551

sn = 38019

So, sum of 3 digits number divisible by 13 =38019 .

IN TRIANGLE ABC IF M ANGLE A = 76 ANGLE B = 48 then find measure of angle c.

Answer»

In TRIANGLE ABC

Angle A + Angle B + Angle C = 180°
( The sum of all ANGLES in triangle is 180°)

Therefore 76° + 48° + C = 180°

124° + C = 180°

Angle C = 180 - 124 = 56°

वह अनुपात ज्ञात कीजिए जिसमें XY तल बिन्दुओं (-2,4,5 ) तथा (3,-5,4 ) को मिलाने वाली रेखा को विभाजित करता है|

Answer»

हल - माना बिंदु A (-2,4,5 ) तथा B(3,-5,4) को मिलाने वाली रेखा को K : 1 7में विभाजित करता है ,तब

( \frac{3k - 2}{k + 1  }  \frac{ - 5k + 4}{k + 1}  \frac{4k + 5}{k + 1} )

°•° बिंदु R, XY तल पर स्थित है , इसलिए z-निर्देशक शून्य होगा |

\frac{4k + 5}{k + 1}  = 0

4k + 5 = 0 \\  \\ 4k =  - 5 \\  \\ k =  -  \frac {  5}{4}

अतः XY तल AB रेखाखंड को 5:4 के अनुपात में बाह्य विभाजित करता है

Is it possible to construct a quadrilateral ABCD in which AB=3 CM, BC=4 CM, CD=5.5 CM,DA=6 CM and BD=9 CM? If not, give reason.

Answer»

No. We cannot construct this quadrilateral.

Reason:

First we have to draw ∆ABD and after that we can continue to join BC and CD.

By triangle property, sum of any TWO SIDES of a triangle is always greater than the third SIDE. Then only we can draw a triangle.

But, in the given sum, to draw ∆ABD,

AB + AD = 3 + 6 = 9 CM which is equal to third side BD, 9 cm.

According to triangle property, third side is not grater than the sum of the other two sides.

Hence, we cannot construct ∆ as well as the quadrilateral based on the given measurements.
