Solve : Comparing One Directory with Many? |
Answer» <html><body><p>Dear <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/internet-14325" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about INTERNET">INTERNET</a>:<br/><br/>I want to clear pics off my phone. I know I have archived a ton, but not all.<br/><br/>So I copied them all into a directory - C:\PhonePix<br/><br/>I have a ton of subdirectories, one for each trip I've been on (e.g., C:\Users\rjbinney\TravelPix\Elbrus, C:\Users\rjbinney\TravelPix\Bayonne).<br/><br/>Is there software that will tell me if and where there are dupes from the "left side" (the master "PhonePix" directory) <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/also-373387" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about ALSO">ALSO</a> in the many many right sides (i.e., ..."TravelPix\*").<br/><br/>Thanks!well...I <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/would-3285927" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about WOULD">WOULD</a> <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/move-548879" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about MOVE">MOVE</a> all the files from the right side to one folder and there started search for duplicates (there is a ton of software for duplicates...). Even if you would like to compare files...you should have all the files in one folder on both sides (preferably)Thanks. They're already moved into the proper subdirectories "on the right". I just want to make sure I've moved them ALL. (Because the right side has them from my phone, from my <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/wife-ya-shabthal-743423" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about WIFE">WIFE</a>'s phone, and from my actual camera (same thing as a phone but doesn't get calls about my car warranty).)</p></body></html> | |
