Solve : Controllers not named in Device Manager? |
Answer» <html><body><p>Since updating from <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/windows-22662" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about WINDOWS">WINDOWS</a> 7 to Windows 10, I have noticed that some devices on my powered Usb hub are no-longer named under Device manager. I also use a <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/program-246414" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about PROGRAM">PROGRAM</a> called <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/usbdeview" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about USBDEVIEW">USBDEVIEW</a>, that I used to disable certain controllers, but they are not named in that either now. Now I find it difficult to disable the controllers I want disabling, because I'm not sure which ones they are. Does anyone know why this update would suddenly stopped naming my devices? Thanks! I've also reinstalled the Universal Bus controllers, but no joy there either. Some controllers are named, but not all of them.<br/><br/>Edit: I'm just <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/wondering-7723068" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about WONDERING">WONDERING</a> if there is a way to edit anything in device manager, like adding a name or something so that I can recognize the controller. Anyone know if this is possible?</body></html> | |
