I had Microsoft Office 2007 on it and used Excel for my personal finances. I backed up my entire computer on an external hard drive(WD My Passport). I have tried to open the flash drive and it comes up stating it cannot read Word 2007. How can I get the IMPORTANT data that I have on my flash drives and external hard drive. Do you have Word (or Office) installed on the new system? If so, there's no reason it cannot open a document from a previous version of WordPlease tell what type of files are on the flash drive?
