Solve : Device Manager showing on boot?

Answer» <html><body><p>I recently bought a new (reconditioned actually, but new to me) <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/computer-243299" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about COMPUTER">COMPUTER</a> which came with Windows 10.  <br/><br/>I've been shutting it down each night.  Each time I boot it again, the Device Manager pops up.  <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/everything-25538" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about EVERYTHING">EVERYTHING</a> looks normal on it.<br/><br/>I know that some programs that aren't completely shut down will reboot on rebooting the computer.  But those are listed under the inverted caret (show hidden icons symbol) on the <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/right-239192" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about RIGHT">RIGHT</a> side of the task bar <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/next-578185" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about NEXT">NEXT</a> to the 'people' icon.    But I don't see anything there that looks like the Device Manager.<br/><br/>Is it trying to tell me something?  Is this an error message of some sort?You can use a program like Autoruns (or something simple like Startup Control Panel <a href="https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/startup_control_panel_standalone_version.html">https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/startup_control_panel_standalone_version.html</a>) and see which entry is calling for device manager. Then <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/uncheck-7311237" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about UNCHECK">UNCHECK</a> it.</p></body></html>
