Drug Addiction

Drug addiction has become a world wide phenomenon. We can’t pinpoint its real cause but it can be due to discontent with life.

Today, people are frustrated due to many reasons. They take drugs because drugs alone mean to provide an escape from the feeling of boredom. They don’t find themselves to be fit to face the competitive state of life. Drugs provide an escape from the frustration of failure. Many people take it for enjoyment but they are wrong. After taking the drug they have no control over their mind and body. A drunkared can be easily seen staggering.

Drugs taken for any length of time cause addiction. The person is gripped by the habit. This grip keeps growing stronger and stronger. One day he becomes so much addicted that he cannot live without drugs.

Drugs cause permanent harm to body organs like-brain, liver, kidney and nervous system. Many times, prolonged medical treatment fails to save an addict.

It is high time we should think over the problem and educate the people telling them the harmful effects of drugs. They should know that it costs the life of a person.

डुग सेवन

ड्रग (नशीले पदार्थों) का सेवन करना पूरी दुनिया में फैली हुई एक सच्चाई बन चुकी है। हम इसके मूल कारण को इंगित नहीं कर सकते हैं लेकिन यह जीवन के असंतोष की वजह से हो सकता है।

आज लोग कई कारणों से हताश हैं। वे ड्रग के आदी हो जाते हैं क्योंकि मात्र ड्रग ही एक माध्यम उन्हें दिखाई देता है जो उनको उबाऊपन से बचाती है। वे अपने आपको जीवन की प्रतियोगी अवस्था का सामना करने में योग्य नहीं मानते हैं। ड्रग हताशी से बचाती है। कई लोग इसका आनन्द की खातिर सेवन करते हैं लेकिन वे गलत हैं। ड्रग का सेवन करने के पश्चात् उनका मस्तिष्क व शरीर पर कोई नियंत्रण नहीं रहता है। एक पियक्कड़ को आसानी से लड़खड़ाते हुए देखा जा सकता है।

ड्रग को कितने भी समय के लिये लिया जाये ये लत बन जाती है। व्यक्ति ड्रग की पकड़ में आ जाता है। यह पकड़ बढ़ती और बढ़ती जाती है। एक दिन वह इतना आदी हो जाता है कि वह ड्रग के बगैर रह नहीं पाता है।

ड्रग दिमाग, यकृत तथा तंत्रिका तंत्र जैसे शारीरिक अंगों को स्थायी नुकसान पहुँचाती हैं। कई बार व्यसनी को। बचाने के लिए एक लम्बा उपचार भी असफल रहता है।

अब समय आ गया है कि हम समस्या पर विचार करें तथा लोगों को ड्रग्स के हानिकारक प्रभाव के बारे में बताते। . हुए शिक्षित करें। उन्हें यह जानना चाहिये कि यह मनुष्य की जान की कीमत माँगता है।
