It happens with Windows 8 as well. The problem application is Acer Global Registration. Go to Programs and Features in Control Panel and uninstall it (GREGsvc.exe and Greg.exe) Hello<br/><br/>Thanks for your replies.<br/><br/>I think I may have resolved it on my Packard Bell PC.<br/><br/>As I say, there is nothing about GREG in my Control Panel, but I removed the Packard Bell Registration entry there, and I haven't seen the GREG pop-up since.<br/><br/>Cheers<br/><br/>High1</p></body></html>
