Solve : How to set, and limit a Guest account in Windows 10?

Answer» <html><body><p>Hi all<br/><br/>I have just set up a Guest account in Windows <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/10-236933" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about 10">10</a> <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/using-1441597" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about USING">USING</a> the Command Prompt instructions as listed on numerous websites such as here <a href="https://www.windowscentral.com/how-create-guest-account-Windows10">https://www.windowscentral.com/how-create-guest-account-Windows10</a> . I have read there is no Guest function in Windows 10 and as such this is the only way to set one up. <br/><br/>However, whilst the account works... when logged into this account (and logged OUT of main/administrator account) any search carried out finds the files that should be limited/hidden, such as all files on D drive, C drive <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/etc-251218" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about ETC">ETC</a>.<br/><br/>How can the Guest account in Windows 10 be set up so that a guest can use the PC, but be limited and have no access to search, files and folders in D, etc? Or is there a better way to allow a 'guest' account for limited <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/internet-14325" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about INTERNET">INTERNET</a> access without access to the rest of the PC?<br/><br/>Thanks in advance. <br/><br/> Quote from: chad on September 01, 2019, 07:38:22 PM</p><blockquote>I have just set up a Guest account in Windows 10 using the Command Prompt instructions as listed on numerous websites such as here <a href="https://www.windowscentral.com/how-create-guest-account-Windows10">https://www.windowscentral.com/how-create-guest-account-Windows10</a> .
