Solve : Invisible server? |
Answer» <html><body><p>I didn't have any issues with the server after I figured out what I was doing wrong. For some reason the clients can't see it an vice versa. My <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/laptop-1066410" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about LAPTOP">LAPTOP</a> should be able too see them wireless an it's not. I restarted the server clients an router. The clients on the <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/domain-248447" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about DOMAIN">DOMAIN</a> can see each other though. Can't ping the server. Changed the <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/rj45-2250883" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about RJ45">RJ45</a> to the server unplugged the cable to the router an rep lugged it. The server has to run to a hub which runs to the router where the clients are. The wireless just backs off the router to send the signal through the house. Server 2008 data center compaq <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/ego-449229" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about EGO">EGO</a> w4000<br/><br/>The last thing I want to do is reinstall though there isn't a lot on itCheck that IP/subnet <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/mask-770491" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about MASK">MASK</a> is correct and compatible on server and workstations.Sorry, Im thinking of just doing a reinstall since it would be the fastest thing to do.<br/>Quote from: Ryuk on September 27, 2012, 05:27:30 AM</p><blockquote>The last thing I want to do is reinstall though there isn't a lot on it<br/></blockquote><br/>Quote from: Ryuk on September 28, 2012, 05:08:02 AM<blockquote>Sorry, Im thinking of just doing a reinstall since it would be the fastest thing to do.<br/></blockquote><br/>........and he wonders why members think he's a time waster.......No, it became the easiest thing since I really have no clue as far as Server netoworkingFine.
